NIMS on: The Occurrence

The Occurrence was the day when the first wave of infected humans succumbed to the Beta 1 Virus. However, virus is incorrect in that the actual nature of the disease was a sub-space parasite that mimicked a virus in it’s early stages and by the time it was discovered they decided to keep this term so as to not cause more confusion during the upheaval that this threat caused. The viral load simply states the stage of growth and progression of the parasite to the brain from the base of the spinal column in relation to a human or augmented humans body.
